Press poll from Rotterdam
JESC: Excitement is getting up!
During the last couple of weeks there have been several online polls to predict the winner. Today, the esctoday.com team asked the international press in the Ahoy to predict a winner as well. We give you the outcome of some online polls, together with our own press poll.
The readers of escsweden.com picked the Netherlands as the big favourite for the title, followed closely by Serbia and Sweden. Armenia was placed fourth and Belgium fifth. Georgia and Belarus are the least favourite according to the Swedish fans.
The Belgian website belgovision.com practically has the same outcome. The Belgians believe that their Dutch neighbours have the best papers for a victory tonight. Sweden ended up second in the poll and Armenia got the bronze medal.
According to esckaz.com Armenia will win the fifth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Runner up will be Ukraine, followed by F.Y.R . Macedonia in third place.
The readers of our Dutch partnersite songfestival.web-log.nl predict a Dutch victory, which doesn't come as a surprise of course. The other top ratings go to Belgium, Armenia, Serbia and F.Y.R. Macedonia. Surprisingly, Russia finished in seventeenth position.
The latest bets from BET365 are as follows: Armenia 7/2, Russia 5/1, Ukraine 11/2, the Netherlands 13/2, Georgia 7/1, Bulgaria 15/2, Serbia 15/2, Romania 10/1, Belgium 14/1, Cyprus 16/1, Malta 16/1, Belarus 16/1, Sweden 18/1, Greece 20/1, Lithuania 22/1, F.Y.R. Macedonia 25/1 and Portugal 28/1.
During today esctoday.com asked several press members for their personal favourites. This resulted in the following top 10:
- Sweden
- The Netherlands
- Cyprus
- Ukraine
- F.Y.R. Macedonia
- Romania
- Serbia
- Russia
- Bulgaria
- Georgia

Thed chances of a Dutch win are less likely than green snow at Christmas too.
The chances of Sweden winning from that list of countries - even if they were singing an Abba song - is zero.
the best is Armenia, they will win this edition
MY fave is Serbia and Sweden i think that Serbia will get a higher place than Sweden because Sweden has a weaker song than Serbia
