Bulgaria drop out of top 10!
BigPoll - FYR Macedonia flying!
The leaders after the first 1000 votes had been registered was Turkey, with Malta in second place. Since then, the points for Malta have increased steadily, however Turkey are slipping down the rankings and are now in fifth place. Should te BigPoll be a correct prediction of the real outcome, Turkey will be safely qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest final on 12th May.
Malta now top the poll with Olivia Lewis expected by our readers to pick up the most points during the semi final. FYR Macedonia have jumped sharply this week, possibly because of the release of the English version of the song. Based on the current trends, they could overtake Malta at the top within the next two weeks.
Fighting it out closely for third, fourth and fifth position are Cyprus, Belarus and Turkey respectively. They are swapping positions regularly, but all three are looking likely to qualify safely according to the esctoday.com readers that have so far registered their predictions. The remaining five qualifying countries at this stage are expected to be Serbia, Slovenia, Norway, Switzerland and Andorra.
Bulgaria have slipped out of the top ten at present, now in 11th place, with Hungary, Estonia and Georgia, Iceland and Denmark close behind.

i think you would drem to have a similar score with that of Greece in the eurovision song contest...we never have to pass any semis, and of a girl like Helena Paparizou or performers like Sakis or the hot Sarbel you can only drem of...be happy if you manage to pass the semis with this boring song and the boring karolina..but i doubt you will.well see you in the semis next year anyway like always!!
We all know the new Hollywood movie "300" about the "Battle of Thermopylae". But what you also may have noticed and what we want to show you is that a song in the movie called ""Message for the Queen" is almost an exact copy of our famous Macedonian song, "Zajdi, zajdi jasno sonce".It's a shame We, Macedonians have to find it out on this way, not even asking for permission or mentioning it, they just copied it. Is it normal for other people to steal parts of Macedonia's culture and make millions of it? Borat did it too, and Esma filed a lawsuit against him, as was said, but how it finished, we don't know.
MD: This act should not be forgotten, Macedonia, in fact it is the duty of our government to fight these thieves. If it happened with another country they would have done that imediatelly!

I see you more applying very clear like: "She's outstanding, but she musn't win". No way, she simply musn't.." At least you sound exactly like that!! & you look funny to be honest.. Other ppl have constructive opinion too, stated clearly & openly.
But.. I have to agree that the song is mediocre, that's correct! Karolina wasn't my personal favorite this year, Tamara's song was my no 1 this year. But that's just ME & my own subjectiveness. Karolina was selected from the ppl with 100% support, winning the maximum points from ALL regions in Macedonia. & to be honest, she's showing much more dominant presence so far than I ever expected. She the conclusion is that she's doing just great! Don't underestimate other ppl opinion's. They do liked the song & they write about it. After all, it's not a crime to be a talented singer & beautiful young Lady in same time. That's can only bring Macedonia higher.

no way that FYR Macedonia is gonna win this competition..the song is very mediocre and i doubt if it is going to pass the semi finals...i know that until now macefdonia has passed all the semis because of the balkan connection-voting, but this time balkan countries are going to vote for bulgaria massively, i think and i hope so, because voda is a very good entry..I am so glad tha olivia, Malta and Vertigo are leading the poll...i think that people have felt ow nice, dramatic and melodic this song is...so let us hope, Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Valetta!!!!(and to avoid any misunderstaunding i am a born and raised greek living in the last years in Berlin, i just loved vertigo from the firdt hearing!!)

Is the Big Poll filtering people voting for their own country and voting many times? I honestly cant see the current top 3 even qualifying to the finals. Of the 3 I would say Turkey has the best chance to qualify.
The songs to watch, and which i believe will qualify:
Serbia (by far the best song this year and the one I hope wins the contest)
Denmark, Cyprus, Georgia, Belarus, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Andorra
Last two spots to be fought between: Moldova, Estonia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey and Austria

I hope it will be in Macedonian. All Balkan states should sing in native languages , Greek,Macedonian, Bulgarian , Serbian/Croatian,Romanian are beautiful languages , no need to sing in English.
Unfortunately Greek songs are always in English.

Since the world-known place as Macedonia is Greek and the history behind this name is greek, so as Great Alexander of course,
please refer to this lovely country as FYR MAcedonia, which is the official name and not Macedonia.

But if they qualify with THIS song, this will be a sign that you can't take the contest serious any longer...

I just saw the video-clip for ''Mojot svet'' on MTV, it's so-so, Karolina is the only thing in the focus and all the time so it seems a little boring. Not necessary to mention that Karolina looks gorgeous though I'm sure you can see it quite often on MTV in the following days, or someone will post a link for it.
