Denmark at the junior contest

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was founded on an idea from DR, the Danish broadcaster. It started in 2002 as being a contest between the Scandinavian countries, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, but it grew to become the junior contest we have known from the past few years. Originally DR had all the rights for the contest, but as it grew bigger and bigger the Danish broadcaster saw it changing in a way they did no longer approve of. They sold the rights and last year they took the final decision as to pull out. NRK and SVT followed their example and soon the original Scandinavian version was reborn for the 2006 contest.
The Scandinavian contest will for its 2007 edition be expanded with Finland. Iceland was asked to take part as well, but they decided to wait. Time will tell if Finland will be able to change the Danish luck at this contest as every time the contest has been held in its Scandinavian version Denmark has been the winner. As usual it is the top 3 from the national finals that qualify for the Nordic final which is to be held in Oslo in November 2007.

Who are childish in here?! You are pretty low... DR, NRK & SVT went out from JECS because of the presure on the children - they were thinkin at the persons, not at the money like the rest of the countries does now! You sounds like a bitter and angry girl, work with it my friend, it will help you!
Like going to hell forever. When are they going to do this with the proper Danish finals?

Maybe someday they'll pull out of ESC as well and the Scandinavians can have their own safe, little contest where they pat each other on the back. They could even decide in advance who the winner will be and let it rotate between them each year if they want to be that childish... seems a safe way for them to compete without having to lose to better songs from Eastern Europe. 
Which, after all, was the whole point was it not?
