Ajde kroči
Montenegro: Video clip and lyrics online
Stevan was born in Montenegro 21 years ago. He first made his mark when he won the Intro Karaoke competition in 2003. He tried his luck twice before in the Eurosong, once in 2005, when he finished fourth, and again in 2006 when he won the Grand Prix.
Ajde kroči (Music: Slaven Knezovic, Lyrics: Milan Peric)
Ajde kroci, kroci i poskoci,
Ti si meni zapala za oci
Cija si, lijepa djevojko
Poljubicu tvoje crno oko
Cija si, lijepa djevojko
Poljubicu tvoje crno oko
O, kako si lijepa kao sva mora
O, kad iz tvog oka budi se zora, ljubavi
Chorus:
Ajde kroci, kroci i poskoci,
Ti si meni zapala za oci
Ajde kroci, kroci i poskoci,
Da ih je sedam - nikome te ne dam
Poljubi me, lijepa djevojko
Da poletim kao sivi soko
Poljubi me, lijepa djevojko
Poletjecu kao sivi soko
O, kako si lijepa kao sva mora
O, kad iz tvog oka budi se zora, ljubavi
As a debut country, Stevan Faddy will be performing in the semi final in Helsinki. He will start 7th in the semi final running order on May 10th.

sorry but this song is below the average. i doubt it will make it. a pity.
I think it would be better if you sent Sergej Cetkovic or Sako Polumenta on Eurosong... LOL, just kidding (but Sergej would have rocked on Eurosong hehe).
Anywayz, good luck neighbours. Trade you for votes? Kidding again
Greetz from Bosnia
It's good that he will sing this song in Serbian language. If the song was in English, noone would vote for it as the text is so stupid. It doesn't make sense.Singing in Serbian can make a difference and make this song not finishing lower than Albania.
I have heard that Faddy has Scottish nationality and i find it very interesting but i`m not sure if it`s true.I wonder if he`s the child of a mixed marriage (half Montenegrin, half Scottish?) or not.Does anyone know anything about this?
"Montenegro is totally awful!!! Apart from the 12 points that Serbia will give to it (...)"
I don't think it's totally awful - just a little. It's also highly debatable whether it'll get 12 from Serbia after the last year's Montenegrin jury attempt to hijack the national Serbia Montenegro final for a political purpose. That sort of arrogance won't be forgotten for a long while.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it gets none from Serbia. I certainly won't vote for it.
pjesma che sigurno biti ljepsha kad se prevede na engleski!!!!i ljudi neche je bukvalno prevodit` shvatite to!!!!!
"how would you translate the title into english?"
"C'Mon Step Up" - comes to mind.
In fact, the main chorus hook goes "C'Mon, Step Up and Jump".
He's addressing a girl.
My inkling is that Faddy is sent off to Helsinki in return for being sacrificed last year to No Name - he won the 2006 Montenegrin final with "Put Your Shoes On". This song has hilarious undertones but I suppose it's not THAT bad. He looks like he's loaded with amphetamines though....
The video is okay, but I don't like the song. This is the worst Faddy's song. He can do much better. Check Serbia-Montenegro preselection 2005 - the song is called "Utjeha". "Cipele" (2006)was also a good song.
I would like to see Bojan Marovic or Andrea Demirovic reprsenting Montenegro in 2008.
Good luck!
omg, we're back fifteen year ago with that kind of music, it's so old fashionned nowadays!! Good luck anyway for your first year at ESC!
@ ANA S:
what a rude way to ask someone to stop being a pain you know where... I also think Marco is a little too excited about our national representative, but,'cmon... let's be nice, shall we...?
P.S - Only if we had at least three friendly neighbours to vote for us (and help spoiling the show) we wouldn't have to have our intelligence insulted by people like you.
i dont know why, but i like this song after listening to it often
the guitar riffs are nice, but i dont think, montenegro will reach the final
See you in the Eastern semi next year.
I love Balkan enteries. Every year there is at least one big hit. i was very impressed last year: Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia.
This year totaly diferent story. very bad year for Eorovision, not many good songs. I am a bit disapointed from Croatia and Montengro. Bosnia are playing on same card like last year, which will take them not far. Macedonia may pick up many votes from the balkan countries, i doubt from the rest of the Europe. So Serbia again has the best song. I would be suprised if Montenegro goes in the final.
Good luck Montenegro u will need it
Montenegro's religion is 82% orthodox christian.
Very weird looking guy and the song is just awful.
Im curious about MONTENEGRO religion muslim?
ok the video is nice , but Stevan sings all his throat out of his mouth. He is like a dynamite that's going to explode .. I hope he has still his accodial voice on stage in Helsinki. This song is a disgrace for Montenegro after No name's beuatiful song. Totally, this is not a good debut from a new country. I expected much better. (btw the montenegrins had a national final without any ordience - that's a pitty)
Sorry Montenegro.. I thought no other song could keep Albania or Denmark from the last position of my list.. so you did. Shame on you Montenegro.. shame.. disgracefull enough ! pfff
Awful song, bye bye Montenegro in semi 2008!
As I used to like the entries of Serbia & Montenegro I expected this year two good songs of those two "new" countires... But I do not like one of them at all. The one from Montenegro is in my bottom 10. Let's hope for last year hearing again a good song from both countires again.
I don't know the serbian language, but I can understand some of the words.

@ANA S
Not quite sure, even the entry is quite good, that Slovenia will reach the final.
Its a pitty that 2001 Slovenia's entry, ENERGY, finished only 7th, even it was huge summer hit.
Omar Naber also had excellent song didnt make it to the final.
Andrej's destiny too last year.
Slovenia is clear example how small countries (like Malta) depends on everyones vote - not neighbours one.
It is a very bad song...
Montenegro could do much much better, but next year, I suppose...
I actually like this song, I like the guitars here...
But sure, I'd have thought the singer to be at least 10 years older than this article says...
I really did want to adore Montenegro's first ever entry but I have set myself a challenge.
Awful song,awful performance,awful performer!A-W-F-U-L!!!
how would you translate the title into english? i have seen two different translations that mean radically different things...
Good Luck Montenegro !!!
Nice video
Hehehe oh no, another tourism-promoting video from Montenegro- filming the exact same sights as No Name did in their video
