Silvia Night on the run!
Dress rehearsals in Iceland start tonight
Silvia rehearsed earlier today, and was due to meet with esctoday.com for a scheduled interview. However she has a television show tonight at 22:00CET, however there are growing rumours about a protest outside the Parliament building against this evening's broadcast.
Silvia left rehearsals suddenly, but esctoday.com will be attempting to find her and bring news about the 'protest' before tonight's show. We know from Silvia's interview in Athens that esctoday.com is her favourite website, as she told us during our interview in Athens, and we are hoping that she will allow us to talk to her about the show tonight and the protests as well as this year's line up in tomorrow's national final.
In the mean time, you can find the introduction clip to the show here.

hehe
I have kinda enjoyed the Icelandic semis this year
However I think the winner will come from any of the three songs qualified from the second semi.
Fridrik Omar, Jonsi, or Erikur Hauksson ( sorry if i spelt any wrongly)
thanks mr. green! :-) I'll be watching...
Silvia Night, what does she do in this contest anyway. Last years presentation was an absolute disaster and she is an intolerant person.
The biggest bullshit on earth.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Icelandic final, a lot more interesting than certain other national finals this weekend. Maybe even interesting for all those Finns living in the UK.
I was being sarcastic. Just for you're knowledge there are thousands of Finns living in the UK.
how sad to have to create dual profiles and personalities to get yourself out of a mess when you create them,
it's not original, you aren't the first , but others have been a bit smarter when they have done this
If you are, Aleksi, then don't pretend you're two Finns in the UK...
Yes John Makk you're right. I'm the only Finnish person in all of creation.
Yes Aleksi, although it looks as if you are probably the same person as Melina, LOL
It looks to me like there is more than one sensitive and confrontational person here.
Melina, you went through the same rigmarole with someone else yesterday as well as complaining about people writing their top 10 lists.
If you think I was being rude there, then you don't want to hear me once I get started.
Stop being so sensitive and confrontational, you are only new here and you have already managed to ruffle a few feathers.
"stop finding something to whine about every five minutes"?? Excuse me??! Whoever has been whining here, it has def. not been me... Even now I was only responding to your comment... YOU had better stop being so rude!!
@ Melina
I don't think it's a case of bias, it will be more a case of logistics and also contacts made through each television producer.
I am sure finland will be covered as it has been up until now, you will just have to be a bit more patient.
Until then, just enjoy the coverage of the other national finals and stop finding something to whine about every five minutes.
Anyway, it is very hard to imagine anyone finding the Finnish NF this year dull...!
The semis may have been, a bit (as there the artists were not competing against each other but their songs), but tomorrow is the final, which is going to be a very, very close fight...
@ john makk, of course it's a matter of taste which NF each of us finds more interesting, but if ESCtoday is supposed to be unbiased, they should of course cover all NF's equally... So I do find this strange, especially as the Finnish NF is aired before the Icelandic one, as I mentioned below...
The best way to understand Silvia Night is to imagine the UK sending Edina nad Patsy from 'Absolutely Fabulous', they would have roles to play whenever in the public eye.
Nobody would think of them as Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley...
@ Melina
That is just a matter of taste.
I actually find the finnish final this year as dull as dishwater, and the winner in Iceland is by no means a foregone conclusion.
ESCtoday are doing a tremendous job, why be so picky??
Hmm, I can't help wondering why ESCtoday is covering the Icelandic NF to the smallest detail, but nothing yet about the Finnish NF, which will be aired before the Icelandic one tomorrow... Especially as the Finnish one is so interesting - in Iceland everyone already seems to know the winner
I think ESC is turning into a parody of itself. Can you honestly blame Iceland for taking the piss? They send good entries that rarely do well and loose out to songs that often are complete dribble.
if you have TVE Internacional you can watch it
Who can tell me where (on which channel) can I watch Mision Eurovision on sutarday? please!!!!
Yes, it was but ESC it's not a parody contest...
