Emmy, Hayer and Hayko stand the best chance I think, I'm not sure about three members of Hayer doing selection though, they'd be better as the group. Jacklina Tumanyan is probably the best looking singer in the group! Good luck Armenia, I loved your entry last year, any chance of giving the UK any points??
I hope for another top ten!
I hope we'll do well in Helsinki!!!!!Whoever goes-best-best-best-best luck
Still- GO EmmYyyyyy,Go Hayerr,Go Arshaluys,Go Jaklina,GO Nelly
ur Great ,hope u'll do great in national Final too, wish my country the best
The first song 'Angel' by Jacklina is written by Swedes!!
The best of luck to Armenia in Helsinki 2007!!
Greetings,
DJ
i hope we are gonna hear some armenian lyrics on winning song.....
@Aris
"I just checked again and to be more accurate I have to say that 5 songs are in Armenian, the remaining in English..... "
voreve hayeren site goyootyoon ooni oo yes loor choonem?
well, lot of artists with different styles
i like to see meri voskanian or emmy this year in eurovision, they are both very nice.
Vo.X as far as i know they became nominees of the British Gospel Music Award as the best British group in “gospel” genre in UK so thier song should be rock or something like that.
plz i beg you, just not hyko.
oh well
titles
artists we don't know (yet!)
what do you expect me to react?
wait, why am i reacting?
I just checked again and to be more accurate I have to say that 5 songs are in Armenian, the remaining in English.....
why not put then phonetically in Armenian then!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
To Owen and other friends:
Most of the songs are in Armenian, the titles are translated into English
Exciting time, with so many countries selecting...
@ Adam: "i am feeling so euro friendly this year i am happy whoever wins lol"
You have the right attitude!!
That's what this board (and ESC in general) needs! Of course we all have our favourites (and some non-favourites), but a little bit of positive attitude won't hurt anyone, on the contrary... (Can't help thinking that when reading some of the comments on these boards...)
Owen, it's not often we hear songs in Welsh or Gaelic in the UK selection...
Some famous names in that line-up, including last year's rumoured participant Mari Voskanyan and lyricist Karan Kavaleryan. Let's hope My Story wins in Armenia though and then in Georgia as well!
@Owen :
completely agree with you! It's sad to see it :/
Anyway, I am interested to hear Angel and Anything you need.
Meri Voskanyan with two songs
Anyway, all songs on English,so i hope to see one more top 10 for Armenia
Good Luck Armenia !!!
well come on Armenia an ok debut, there have been better debuts, but please now do not pull a moldova or a poland or any country that debuted fabulously then flumped the year after, stick in that top 10, woo lol i am feeling so euro friendly this year i am happy whoever wins lol
Anyone would think there wasn't an Armenian language at all looking at the song titles!!!
I mean fair enough wanting to send an English song to the contest or performing an otherwise non-english song in English on the night but to have NO songs from your national language in the PRE-SELECTION is taking things a bit far, i think!
