Kate Ryan, Velvet and more...
Europarty in Poland for New Year
Sylwester Pod Dobrą Gwiazdą (New Year's Eve Under A Good Star) will feature several artists with Eurovision Song Contest or national final experience in a show to be aired live by TVP2 from the Polish city of Wroclaw on 31st December between 21:00 and 1:10 local time.
Two Belgian artists have been invited to join the party. Kate Ryan will be giving a small concert, performing six of her biggest hits. This year's Belgian Eurovision Song Contest representative will be joined by Danzel, the Belgian singer who took part in this year's Polish national final with the song Undercover. Joining the two Belgians will be Jenny Petterson - better known as Melodifestivalen 2006 candidate Velvet from Sweden. Of course the show will feature many Polish artists, including Piasek (ESC 2002), Tatiana Okupnik (ESC 2004 - Blue Café), Gosia Andrzejewicz (ESC 2005 - Ivan & Delfin) and Kasia Cerekwicka (Polish national final 2005).
Sylwester Pod Dobrą Gwiazdą will be hosted by Grażyna Torbicka, who recently hosted Miss World 2006, Katarzyna Poksińska and Norbi.

Hi everyone!
I invite you to listen two song of polish national final "Piosenka dla Europy 2007". Those are my favorites to represent Poland in Helsinki: Hania Stach and Kuba&Maciek Moleda.
Unfortunatly they have low chances to win... :-(

An I'm happy so that !!!!!!!!! I believe so Kate Ryan sing "Je T'adre"
Are they? I thought ESC was quite popular in Sweden??
So the songs of Carola, Lena, Linda,... as well then?
to Yavoda Minskaja:
"Je T'adore" pe peaked at #21. "Désenchantée" on the other hand peaked inside the top.5. But "Je T'adore" didn't get any good airplay in Sweden. In Sweden the most songs from ESC are being boycotted on radio.
Yes, Désenchantée was her biggest hit almost everywhere.
And how did "Je T'adore" in Sweden?
to Yavoda Minskaja:
Yes she made it to the charts but that not necessary mean she's popular here. It's a difference of being no.40 on the chart and in the top. 10 you see.
In Sweden she had only one hit so far and that's Desenchantee (don't know the spelling), and I think it's the same for more countries than Sweden. One hit about 5 years ago doesn't make you popular.
@ Yeah right
you're right in a way concerning my country
Indeed, Kate is extremely popular in Poland, but she made it to the charts as well in Sweden and France.
to When is West Europe going to win Eurovision again?:
Stop that childish acting. First of all Poland is NOT "east" Europe. It's geographically central Europe and would have never been considered as east if it wasn't because of Soviet taking control of the country (including others) after the world war II, dividing Europe into two blocks. Where were WEST helping here? NO WHERE! If history would have been fair then the west would never accept Soviet to have control over states like it had, destroying them politically and economically. If Europe wouldn't have been divided like it was you would NEVER discuss neither Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary as "east" Europe. So stop that talking and learn some history please. You're making a fool out of yourself.
Secondly Kate Ryan is really popular in Poland. Is she popular in "western" countries like the UK, Sweden, France etc. NOPE she ISN'T! So why should she spend some time in countries that don't care for her?
Third but not least. West Europe will win again when they will send good songs. Alot of the western European seem to not care about the contest and send shitty songs. You can't blame east for that.
Offcourse I can see some bloc voting. For example if it would be correct Kate Ryan in 2006 should get to the final. But still... did the "west" countries votes help her that much? Not really.
