Herbert Fuchs passed away

Herbert Fuchs, director of the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Vienna, Austria, passed away on 1st November, exactly on his 80th birthday. He is mainly known as the director of live theatre productions in the 1970s and 1980s and the very succesful program Guten Abend Samstag (Good evening, Saturday) with Heinz Conrads.

Herbert Fuchs might be regarded as one of the most popular directors in Austrian television: ORF head of entertainment, Edgar Böhm, told: As one of the most important ORF TV directors, Herbert Fuchs did his stint to let the ORF live theatre be born as an own kind of TV program ... once again we can see: Herbert Fuchs was great in his job.

esctoday.com would like to send our condolences and sympathies at this time to the friends and family of Herbert Fuchs.

I don't want to be the bad guy here, but if ESC-Today wants to mention every artist, presenter or conductor that dies of over 40 countries and 50 years... well, good luck...
