Secret wedding

Ralph Siegel got married

The almost legendary Ralph Siegel, who keeps the record in having composed the most Eurovision Song Contest entries, got married for the third time. After five years, Kriemhild and Ralph said 'I do' during a romantic ceremony in Mauritius. Until today, the wedding was kept a secret.

According to media, the composer proposed to Kriemhild in Dubai in early 2006. Both are not only a married couple: Ralph Siegel and his wife, who is a professional singer, are going to release a classic CD called Mozart Premiere on 10th November.

esctoday.com wants to wish the couple the best of luck for their marriage!

In 1974, Ralph Siegel competed in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time: he composed Bye bye I love you for Luxembourg, which finished 4th, sung by Ireen Sheer. He went on to compose no less than 18 entries to the contest, most of them for Germany. In 1982 he achieved his only victory with the German song Ein bißchen Frieden, performed by Nicole. In 2006, his song If we all give a little finished in a disappointing 16th place for Switzerland.
