Band not splitting
Szilvia speaks: NOX goes on!
Lead singer Szilvia Péter Szabó spoke at length to Hungarian tabloid Blikk, stressing that the rumours may have died down, but the band certainly hasn't. In fact, they are as strong as ever, with their new album Örömvölgy going gold on the day of release. This was made easier, incidentally, by a recent reduction in the Hungarian music industry's threshholds for gold and platinum status, brought on by a serious downturn in music sales over the country.
Talked a lot
But Szilvia did hint at the tensions which gave rise to the rumours of a split some weeks ago. Talking about her relationship with NOX producer László Rácz, she admits "We have talked a lot and we have
made a decision not to break up and to try it again." So fans can breathe easy in the knowledge that at least for now, NOX will continue to make music.
NOX came 12th at the Eurovision Song Contest final in 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

They were brilliant at the esc 2005 and should have achieved a better result. I hope that they return to the esc to represent Hungary and win!!!!!
Great band... yeah her performance was a bit lacking in 2005, but hey, there were more like that, and it still was an excellent song. I think it was their starting poisition that did it for them.
their song was nice and i loved it, but their beautiful sexy singer destroyed the whole thing. she cant sing.

If Hungary had been one place higher they would have had a place in the final this year!! do you think if they had had that place (either because Nox had done slightly better or if another country other than Serbia-Montenegro had droped out) Hungary would have participated this year?
i believe NOX could have been a winner if it had a better placement although Helena ROCKED the night
