Song to be presented on 7th March
Bosnia and Herzegovina call for songs
Interested parties are invited to submit their proposals to BHRT until 20th of December. Although the performers have to have B & H citizenship, the competition is open to foreign composers and lyricists.
The winning song will be presented on 7th March on a prime time show which will be broadcast on BHT 1, BHR and BHT1 Satellite (provisional date).
Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 for the first time. Their best placing to date came in 2006, when Hari Mata Hari came third with Lajla, a sentimental Balkan ballad by Serbian Zeljko Joksimovic. In 2009, rock band Regina entered the top 10 in the final with Bistra voda.

I think from the Balkan countries Bosnia and Herzegovina have always sent the most unique and Intresting songs, most of them are overlooked.
But my personal favourite from the Bosnian entries was 2008 :>
Thought it was hilarious and the song had a nice meaning
but I'm glad 2009 scored so well, even though towards the 2nd verse it started to get boring
Bosnia has had some great entries and this year was no exception. They deserved a higher placing - the song was practically perfect.
I hope they will choose another band or a male singer. There's usually too many female singers in ESC and I hope it will be sung in their own language. I hope for another Balkan ballad or some rock. Just don't ever send Deen again or I will kill myself.
Dino, it will for sure not be Feminnem, they are so much NOT Bosnian... only one of them was born in a place which is Bosnia today, but her roots are Croatian. There was another girl in the band who was also born in Bosnia, but she left the band in early 2008
Deen's songs was totally untypical for him, but what can you expect from Pisarovic? She tried to be successfull with the same kind of crap songs, luckily she wasn't. Today she's making some kind of jazz songs. Go and check Deen on Youtube, his usual style is totally different.
I loved all their entries since 2006 and hope for another great song from BiH in 2010. Good luck!
My favourite entries from Bosnia & Herzegovina are :
2006 Lejla, beautiful song
2007 Rijeka bez imena and 2009 Bistra voda. Good luck for the next year !
I think that Bosnia deserved their place in the top10 this year, Bistra Voda is a great song. But i hated their 2008 Joke entry, which somehow managed to get over 100 points. Still, good luck to them next year
I LOVE B&H!!!

I wanna some of those singers to represent B&H in Eurovision - Dino Merlin again, Aldino, Lepa Brena, Selma Bajrami, Adnan Babajic, Elvira Rahic, Ada Grahovic, SMS, Armin Muzaferija!!
I actually bet that Bistra Voda would win in Moscow, but during rehearsal week I changed my bet to Iceland. One thing for sure was that Norway wouldn;t win
I really am useless with these bets.
No Femminem or Deen again please !
Best of luck Bosnia!
Bistra Voda was one of my favourite songs this year. So Awesome!!
Best Bosnian entry too!
@Chica Bonita
Why isn't B&H in ur favourites countries' list then?
Good luck!!!
Keep on sending great songs!!
Good Luck Bosnia for 2010
I thought the 2009 entry was wonderful
My favourite eurovision country will come up with another great song
Good luck Bosna i Hercegovina!
Hope for a great song like 'Lejla' again!
