Six acts proceed
Lithuania: First quarter final results
The following six acts qualified for the semi final of the semi final of Dainu daina:
1st - Sasha Son - Pasiklydęs žmogus 92 points
2nd - Darius Pranckevičius & Vi ta Valskytė - Nelytėta viltis 78 points
3rd - Vi ta Tarasovienė - Aš Būsiu Šalia - 74 points
4th - Vilius Tarasovas - Aš Tik Tavim Tikiu - 62 points
4th - 69 Danguje - Meilės Simfonija - 62 points
6th - Egidijus Sipavičius - Per Mažai - 56 points
The following six acts did not make it:
Alanas, Augustė, Jonas Čepulis Ir Skirmantė, Kamilė, Milana, Vita Rusaitytė
The next two quarter finals will be on 17th & 24th January and the two semi-finals January 31st & February 7th.

i finally got the song, you'll see that i agree on the top 2 except i would have had them in the opposite order.. but yeah overall an ok heat but nothing special

Hmmm,i've just listened to some of the songs and thought: why not send Donatas to ESC? 
C'mon,people.There's still a chance to see Alanas in semifinal because TWO performers are chosen by commision (from those who didn't reach TOP 6).

69 Danguje - Meilės Simfonija is ... how to put it mildly? Boring, very boring. Sasha Son is a fantastic singer, last year he made me weep with Miss me kiss, but this year he makes me yawn. My fav was Alanas. Great performance, lively song. Oh, Lithuania, don´t you learn from your mistakes??
it's a pity Alanas didn't pass, the song was one of my faves.... but I'm also glad that Sasha Son and 69 danguje qualified

Now here's a country that doesn't learn from their mistakes - year after year their entries are the laughing stock of us fans!
Even 2008's song (which was horrible, to say the least!) is better than Sasha's 92-points snoozefest - "Pasiklydęs Zmogus" is a dull and boring song without any memorable elements (in fact, I think they forgot to write a chorus!)!
Euggh, why don't they just withdraw anyway!

I haven't heard any of the songs yet, Lithuania is one of the countries I've chosen not to follow very closely this year, but I guess I'll listen to the songs that go through to the final. Good luck to all the performers; may the best song win!!
