107 Eurovision entries in Andorra
Entries were received from across Europe, with almost half of them from within the borders of Andorra. 27 were submitted from Spain, the home of last year's Andorran representative, Gisela. A further eight songs were received from both France and Lithuania, six from Sweden, Four from Greece and Malta. Entries were also received from Belgium, Iceland, Ireland, Israel and the United Kingdom.
Now the selection process will begin and a jury will choose the singers and three songs in total. Later, in January, the selected entries will fight to win the Andorran ticket to Moscow 2009 through four special programmes. The winner will be chosen via SMS by the Andorran public.
Andorra has never been able to reach the final in none of its five participations. The Principality was close to reach this aim in Helsinki 2007, when Anonymous came 12th in the semifinal. This year, Gisela only managed to place 15th.

)....anyway, good luck and let's hope they'll choose the 3 best singers and songs indeed - the ESC 09 seems to get quite strong which makes it very difficult for tiny countries to score I fear. Still good to see them trying again.
I do love Andorra in this contest they try so hard every year. However when Gisela put that 'copper kettle' on her head last year I knew things couldn't get much worse!
i think andorra is one of the unluckiest countries in the contest, every year they send great songs only to narrowly miss out on the final.
anyway, good luck andorra, i hope there is a song in this bunch that will get you to the final!!!!!
That's a lot for a country of Andorra's size.
Interesting that one little Andorra received 107 songs, and Latvia received only one more, 108 songs. 
Anyway, I wish all the luck to Andorra and I want to see them in the final. Good luck!
Hopefully they'll get a good artist who can sing live + good song. Was a crime that anonymous didn't proceed.
