Tonight: third semi final in Malta
The show
Seven songs will be presented tonight. Out of the total of 56 songs in the eight semi finals, an expert jury will select 15 songs for the national final on 7th February while another five songs will be chosen by televoting. Valerie Vella will host the show, which starts at 21:15 CET and will be broadcast on TVM.

Morena represented Malta in the second semi final in Belgrade, where she finished 14th with Vodka. The country will take part in one of the semi finals in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

you will all have to wait for chiara till the 3rd of january as she pulled out of this coming saturdays show due to "personal commitments" i always thought that participating for the eurovision is also a big commitment........... looking forward to hear Claudia Faniello her songs where brilliant last eurovison and i hope her song will be in the finals.
Trilogy have a very good chance! I really wish they will make it this year, and maybe represent our country. They are so skillfull and the three of them have very good voices. Definitely the best choice I think! Good luck!
aha, I want to see Jo Zette win for the reason that I want to see an uproar in the country.

Great. I can't wait her performance. She was great in 2005. Russia gave her 12 pts then, so I hope they will love and suport her in Moscow WHEN she come there as winner of Maltese national final.
