The show will last for about an hour and five new songs will be performed:

From these five songs, the jury will choose one song and the televoters will choose another two to qualify for the second quarter final.

The show has started. Tonight's opening act is Aksinia who took part in the 2007 Bulgarian selection. She also hosted the national final in 2008. The jury is introduced.

1. Annayah - Az te chakam

Az te chakam (I'm waiting for you) is an ethno-folk ballad. Annayah is wearing a golden dress while two dancers and two singers, all in white, are with her on stage. The song and the vocals are strong. She does have the potential to qualify but of course it all depends on the other four songs in tonight's show.

2. Georgi Varbanov - Europe is my home!

The show continues with the ethno stytle but now to a song with touches of rock. Georgi is alone on stage. His vocal abilities are weak, and he has a very strong accent making it hard to tell if he sings English or Bulgarian.

3. Lazar Kisyov - You're not alone 

Now it'S time for tonight's pre-favourite, You're not alone by Lazar Kisyov. The song was presented already at the beginning of October, and a videoclip was released, too. The preselection version is a newer version than the one released. Lazar seems to know what he's doing. His performance is simple and he's on stage with two female backing singers close to him. The crowd seems to enjoy the performance a lot.

4. Antoniya Markova - Don't leave by the day

Antoniya is on stage with a lot of dancers, they are all dressed on black and suddenly she takes her black coat off to reveal a purple dress. It reminds of a musicals song although it's poprock. The dancers are removing the coats, too and they wear different clothes now. The vocals are not perfect but still remarkable.

5. Mario Denev - Lipsvash mi tatko

Mario is alone on stage but with many candles around him. He's wearing a black suit and sings a ballad. The vocals are not strong at all and the song is rather tuneless and has no high recognition value.  If he won't pull a Deyan Dzhenkov, it is hard to believe that number five will qualify.

The jury is giving its opinion now. Then there will be ten minutes of voting, interval acts and the results.
