The Nicole seems to be a busy woman. In 2003 she wrote a book titled "Two drops of water".
Vincent:
The Nicole ended up last (32nd place). Well deserved.
Alcazar participated in Melodifestivalen in 2003 and 2005 and came 3rd on both occasions. In 2005 they were one of the "wildcards". Only two of the original members are still with the group.
Vincent
She came last in the semi final she was in, so she didn't even come close. And as for Alcazar, i've never really listened to any of their music . . . . . . they're pop music aren't they??
@Johny:
did she came second? what place did she get?? and what abut these Alcazar? I never liked them but i always thought they would have good chances in an ESC
Vincent,
Yes if it went to esc it would be a complete disaster!! Luckily, the Swedish public didn't vote for it too much (thank god!!)!
I asked about her, too but noone knows her. Unless she was using a different name at the time?
@Johny...
Marie Nickle kalifatides?? neither me nor all my greek friends have ever ever heard this name before..i think she lied about being known in Greece in any way, just to get some votes. I know thaty in Sweden there is also a Greek community, supporting Eurovision..Now my definite opinion on this song: if it is to laugh, it is ok, if it is a serious dance-pop effort it is horrible!! in any case she can not sing at all, and she would have come top bottom in the ESC, eastern countrie swould feel offended by this and western countries would find her too amateurish..
I searched for it, too. Strange, because I usually know most of greek hits...I'll ask some friends about Nicole tomorrow..I'm curious now!
Mina, I think it's in English. I searched for it on YouTube but I couldn't find it.
Hmmmm..give me your number? Still I don't remember it at all. Was it in english?
Mina:
I also found some information. Her hit single "Give me your number" climbed the charts in Greece in 2005.
YES!! I have information on this infamous Nicole!!!
Here is her myspace -

Hmm no, the name doesn't ring any bells..do you know the title of that song that was a hit here?
Mina:
I think Razborka is a dance.
Have you heard of this singer? Her name is Nicole Fuentes-Kalifatides. She grew up in Greece and has apparently had a great hit there.
Jonny:
The song isn't that bad. The problem is that she can't sing very well.
Stockholm
That is probably the problem, although I think the song is a bit flat, it doesn't really go anywhere.
Stockholm
Oh sorry, I didnt' see your post because it ended up so far down the page
Thanks for the info about Nicole
, I suppose it probably was a Russian parody then, I still really don't like it though!! Although I agree with Mina, it is a little tiny really small bit cute!
What does Razborka mean? I think it's a kinda cute song
Jonny/Vincent:
"is it perhaps a parody of the russian entry?"
As you can see from my previous post which as usual appeared below all other posts she was born in Russia....
Vincent,
I can't seem to work out whether it was a parody or not either . . . .?!?!?!?
my god!!! her voice is worse than a drunk karaokee singing little taiwan boy..how did she get so many votes????? i am sure she has thousands of friends..you are right!!
'''' the winning of Lordi was one of the worst moments of me and the ESC''''
Same here Vincent....I don't know how Greece gave them 12 pts, I knew they would get many pts because kids liked them but I didn't know anyone over 18 who voted for them! Still don't! Maybe they're just not saying it...LOL
Vincent
"her voice is worse than a drunk karaokee singing little taiwan boy" - LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
Glad to see we share opinions!!
Vincent,
She had an entry in this years Melodifestivalen, and it was the worst song in the entire competition!! It got the lowest amount of votes in its semi, but it still managed to get more votes at MF than Andy Abraham did at eurovision from the Swedish public!
Here it is - http://www.youtube.c(...)&feature=related
does she mean all this seriously?? or is it perhaps a parody of the russian entry? because in this case, it is funny..
Jonny:
lol. I also suspected her family. I had never heard of this "singer" before Melodifestivalen. Now I know that she was born in Russia, grew up in Greece and moved to Sweden one year ago. Anyway, I found her performance awful and bizarre too.
who's this nikolw who got so many thousands votes, anyway?????
Or maybe Nicole has 6121 people in her family, and they all voted for her! lol
