OGAE Home Composed Song Contest 2008 call for songs
The first edition of the OGAE Home Composed Song Contest was in 1991 and since then it has been taking place every year with the exception of 1995. It has seen winners from many countries, with Denmark being the leader with no less than seven victories, the rest of the winners being from Sweden and Germany with 2 victories each, and Cyprus, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Poland (1 victory each).
The rules dictate that all participants must be primarily a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and an amateur (co-)composer, a (co-)lyricist and / or a (co-) performer of the song submitted. The songs cannot have been released for commercial use (CD or download).
The deadline for the HCSC 08 is 12th October and the voting period will take place between 13th of October and will end 31st of October 2008, 23h local time Germany. All participants and the public will be able to vote for their favourite song. It goes without saying that participants cannot vote for their own entry. The winner will be announced on 3rd November via a special voting show video.
For more information visit the contest’s official site, here.

woow, I didn't know anything about this HSCS. That's great. We even have one victory (Bosnia and Herzegovina). COOL!
My dear friends- hope that there are no questions anymore about Andorra. Anyhow all nationalities related to ESC are welcome to take part in Home Composed Song Contest 2008! Your HCSC08 coordinator STEFAN
Lots of people from Catalonia, València and Balearic Islands put on thier internet profile that they are from Andorra because they (as I) don't feel Spanish, they (and I) feel that we are Catalan people.
Andorra is the unique state with international status where Catalan is Oficial language, and so those who speaks in Catalan and feel they are Catalan preffer to put in MySpace profiles and other profiles Andorra as their country, to say that their nation is Catalan nation, not Spanish nation.
Barzin:
But I don't understand!!! He says he works in Barcelona airport which is at least 3 hours from Andorra!!
That is one long journey to go to work!!!
@ Jonny :
Adrian works outside Andorra, like most of them!
ajdin mehic:
He cant be from Andorra!! On his profile he says he works at an airport, and there isn't a single airport in Andorra!! The nearest as Carcasonne & Barcelona, which are both a good 3 hours away!!
Very strange . . . . . . .. (maybe he was born in Andorra or something??)
@Adrian
You said that you're from Andorra on your profile page. Weird..
