Romania to open the 53rd Eurovision
Romania: One is our lucky number
Nico and Vlad joined yesterday the Swiss party that Paolo Meneguzzi gave to Continental hotel at New York club where they met with fans, gave interviews in several media and of course esctoday.com was there to cover for you the event.
Nico declared that although everybody thinks that the first place is not so good, she believes that the first place is one of the best and lucky as well, because their song was also first in the Romanian national selection. The Romanian representatives also met with Jelena Tomasevich, the Serbian representative, and they wished luck to each other.
Nico decided to change clothes for the final, a choice the fans approved. That made Nico feel more relaxed and gave her power and strength for the big final.
Esctoday.com has joined the two Romanian singers at their hotel and has "stolen" from Vlad the lucky number seen on the photo.! Nico and Vlad will open the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Pe-o margine de lume" composed by Andrei Tudor.

I do not understand why Romania is in the final. Unfortunately, the 12 Spanish point will go to Romania thanks to the 500.000 Romanians living in Spain.

One of my firends that isn't a big Eurovision fan heard all the songs and said that if there is any justice and taste in this competition than Romania would win in the FINAL

vlad is so hot...i'm sure if he looks in the camera and smile and sing without emotions Romania wins because when is see him i'm melting ...and the song is very very beautiful...Go Romania.!!!
They were a little disappointing vocally on Tuesday, I expected more - maybe because they are in such surreal consonance on the recording.
Here's a lovely schlager evoking some of that old Eurovision sparkle....a nice, warm glow, it blew the genre competition (Hungary) away. Good luck Nico & Vlad.

I'm sure ROMANIA will occupy a good place tonight,why not even win while this is one of the best songs in the contest. Who knows,maybe Bucharest 2009. Good Luck to everybody!
