Euroband will open the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest tomorrow (Thursday) with their entry This is my life. Iceland has not been in the final since 2004.

I was really amazed from the live performance of the group. I consider both artists among the best voices of the contest and the song too. Yesterday when i heard that they finally did it to the final I got very happy since i didn't expect it. You will have definately some votes from Greece this year. The Best of luck from Greece

I am really, really nervous for Iceland. They are definitely my favourites in the whole competition, but I'm worried that all the support they have online isn't going to translate into a final place. Remember Kate Ryan in 2006? Remember DJ Bobo last year? I really hope everyone can see the true talent of these vocalists and send this song sailing through to the final. GO ICELAND - THE UK IS WITH YOU!!!

Icelands best entry since 1986 - deserves a Top 3 placing in the final, it gets my vote tonight.

Just becuase of your lame comment it SHOULD qualify to the finals.
Anyway offcourse it deserves to be in the top.10 in the semi, allthough maybe not top.10 in the finals (depends on what songs will be in the finals obviously).

It deserves to go to the finals. Depending on what songs will be in the final it might even be worth a top.10 spot.
It's not in my overall top.10, but some awful entries made it to the final from semi 1, so it might end up in my top.10 in the finals.
Anyway, it's not very original and like I said, not an overall top.10 but without ANY doubt it deserves to qualify!

Iceland is one of my favourite countries this year too, but I cannot vote, so hope for the viewers of the 2nd semi to put it trhough. Good luck from Spain.
I don't really see what Dima did wrong. But as per usual he acted like a primadonna giving his cushion and medal-thing (or whatever it was) to the lady.
Anyway, on topic, Iceland are my no.1 this year. I am confident they'll qualify for the final but of course I will still give them my vote! I hope for Reykjavik 2009! Come on Iceland!

I don't think that dima could have cheated- because the position numbers were rolled up. However I do feel sorry for the lady holding the box- dima left his hands on her a chest a little too long- although it looked as if she wasn't complaining!
But I really loved Maria's reaction at the end!- Her reaction was the best! Thanks for the link.
