Vania sings in Serbian
Portugal: Vania's duet with Beauty Queens released
The 2008 Eurovision Song Contest seems to be the year where Portugal does new things in a daily basis to promote the song in the best possible way. The announced duet by the Portuguese representative and the girl band Beauty Queens has been released.
The band will also be the special guests next Monday on the Portuguese Party, also a first at an Eurovision week. It will start at 21.30 Serbian time at Porto Restaurant.

Well, she made this in one day!... cos the song was finished 2 days after Vania arrived to Serbia... So, she learned serbian the day she arrived to Serbia and recorded it with the B.Q. ... wow!
soo great... and i noticed that Vania recorded her voice to this version again... It's not a copy-paste version... we can listen to a difference in Vania's voice from the original version to this one with the Beauty Queens...
That girl really works... And she really knows how to sing.
Entirely with PORTUGAL this year!!!
Go PORTUGAL!
i really hope Portugal will get their chance for ones in the final
this "duet" is simply great! Amazing mix of voices!
Portugal is my mo 1 favourite this year!
Good luck !
@ Fabio Deluca
Thanks for the translation. I just have to make a small correction. It is "kada nocu ne spava" instead of "kada noc ne spava". I noticed I missed the letter after removing Serbian Latin letters. My mistake
I was close to react on GeeOh's dumb comments, but I think he doesn't even deserve it. I will ignore that kind of agressive comments, because reacting on them does not lead anywhere.
To the people who's interested, in this link you can download a translation of the Portuguese/Serbian version of 'Senhora do mar'. In the previous page, a guy translated the Serbian part and I used that (I didn't translate it myself). Here's the document:

Beautiful
This is pure quality duet! This version is damn good!!
I knew that Vânia and the Beauty Queens would be able to produce this wonderful 3minutes of feeling...
I would love to see them on stage, i'm sure it would be breathless
as it already is...
Very very good! I love it! Vânia you are the best!
Zena mornara, zena mornara... Beauty Queens you are absolutley fantastic
OMG! This song is better and better!
God Idea Geooh about Ugly Betty!!! Next year they should bring you to eurovision and see how you fare at that, seen as you know so much about it...
Bravo Vania, thanx for doing it in Serbian!!!
GeeOh
Please try to get some manners and a new set of ears before commenting again. 'Molitva' and 'Senhora do mar' are totally different songs. Do you know what kind of songs bore me to death year after year? Scracely dressed women with a silly dancing routine warbling an insignificant disco tune with a wannabe and inauthentic ethnic touch.
@GeeOh:
I don´t agree with nothing you have sead. The root of the Portuguese song this year, is totaly diferent from Molitva from Serbia! The only thing in comun is that both of them are ballads...but that´s all! Portuguese song is a beautiful sad song, and deserves a good rank in the final...and Portugal has never won the contest...and I want to go to Lisbon next year for ESC 2009!! So many godd reasons to have Portugal winning this year!
GeeOh! Do us a favour and... KILL YOURSELF
Thanx!
GeeOh, and what is wrong with that? Portugal participates since 1964 and never won, so why can't we try harder now?
Sorry, don't like it... They blamed Dima Bilan for desperately trying to win, but Portugal is the same, even worse. They don't know what else to invent to promote this... Hope this won't be in the final, or...to win?... Oh, God! No!!! Not another crying ballad!!! It was enough last year, this is too similar to Serbia...Is this part 2 of Molitva or what the f... I hope Armenia or Ukraine to win. I know all ex-soviet countries will support them, and Russia will have their votes, so... there's no room 4 Portugal this year... (Or if u think about it, it's trendy 2 b ugly and to catch a top spot...Lordi in 06, Marija and Verka in 07, Chikilikuarte from Spain and Vania, and who else knows this year)...Spooooky!!! Next year bring Betty The Ugly, plsssss!
absolutly a winner....fantastic duet.

@ Secret Soul
Nobody speaks Serbian here. Who the heck would speak that vowel less language?
@ Stockholm Calling
I totally agree. Although it's not Portugal's best song ever, I would be DELIGHTED to be in Lisbon for 2009!
Good luck Portugal! It would be great to finally see you win and bravo for sending a song in Portugese and treating the rest of us to your beautiful language. Good luck from Ireland
Can someone who speaks Serbian translate the chorus in the final part please? =)
You can partially understand what she is saying in Serbian, if you really listen closley!
She truly is a godess, and all I can say is ALL THE BEST Portugal!
we'll certainly give you 12 points!
if not Belgrade 2009 then Lisbon 2009!
we love you!
@Fabio Deluca: Sandra who? Again you blame people to be other people! YOU SHOULD STOP IT SINCE YOU CANNOT ACCEPT TO BE BLAMED FOR THAT!!!!!
