Ireland: Jean Paul Gaultier wants to meet Dustin
The designer, who is a commentator with the French delegation, has made an official request to have his photograph taken with the turkey at the event.
Dustin said: "I'm delighted because Jean Paul has been trying to work with me for years and finally our schedules have crossed."
"But I'm also deeply concerned about how Donatella will take the news as she has also been pursuing me."
Dustin has also appeared on national television in Serbia this week, with last year's winner Maria Serifovic declaring that he is her favourite to win the competition.

Could someone provide a source to this poll? And how was the poll conducted? And lastly are the Sweds really that dry?
According to P. Eriksson it is not just P. Eriksson but 75% of Swedish men who find Dustin's "insults towards the women that competes in the contest" annoying and pathetic. Glad to see another question has been added to the Eurobarometer survey! I'm surprised that 75% of Swedish men have heard of Dustin, more surprised that they are aware of his comments and astonished that they have opinions about them.
He doesn't tell us what the equivalent figure is for Swedish women. Now that would be interesting! Unless of course he includes women in the term "countrymen". Of course that really would be insulting to women so I'm sure thats not the case.

I hate this chicken! I'm so tired of all it's insults towards the women that competes in the contest!.. It's not funny at all, just annoying and pathetic, I'm glad that over 75% of my countrymen are agree with me!

It so happens that I voted for Lordi. Their song was great and I didn't consider it a gimmick. Dustin is witty and cute but he will not get my vote.
Thisis horrible....it will only proof those right calling the ESC a joke/freak contest. The substance of the ESC is in danger if Dustin should do well....it is ridiculous to compare this to Lordi ! Lordi had a good song, not a trash song. Verka was a big star in eastern Europe, she can't be compared to Dustin either. I doubt this freaky enty will score that well in 42 countries ....it can't be ! Still shame on Ireland to do literally everything for a bit attention - they should try getting attention because of quality !

i'm so embarrassed that we as a great Eurovision nation is sending this "thing" to represent us this year.
apologies to the rest of Europe. i feel we are going to be the equivalent of Silvia Night in ESC 08. i will watch it with my head in my hands 
The same people who voted for Lordi and Verka will vote for Dustin, so Ireland can expect a good result this year. Nonsense sells!

I have to be honest I wasn't the biggest fan of Scooch but they had the same tongue-in-cheek attitude that I liked. Plus I has a smile on my face when Malta gave them 12 points and you're wee blonde woman screamed yes
