The biggest complaint!
Euroslippy song contest
The biggest problem so far appears to be that the smooth surface of the stage is causing balance problems for some of the singers and dancers. Both Hind from the Netherlands and Charlotte Perrelli from Sweden have said that they have struggled to avoid slipping on the surface, which is of course brand new for the show.
Other than that, the stage has been roundly applauded for it's style, sophistication and ability to change its look and feel for all the songs. Additional features such as the pyrotechnics and of course the compusory wind machine are being used by many artists in what is shaping up to be one of the best looking stages in the history of the competition.

Maybe we'll have greater focus on the SONGS and less on all the poncing and preening and flailing limbs.
If I had it my way there would be a thin film of oil on every Eurovision stage.

What I´ve seen from the rehearsal videos the stage looks nice but one can´t really say anything before we´ve seen the first show. But I can´t imagine it being a disaster. Serbia has done a great job this far! Keep it up! 
organization is most imporatant!press centre is on highest level in history! i dont why you are comparing stages from last years.
for me that is not important at all. it everything about good vocal performance and uniqe song that represents one country.
If you watch the switerland rehearsal you can see the singer almost take a tumble when he runs onto the catwalk towards the end. He recovered well but it must be like ice. I remember the time too where you would not see the stage til the big night. Its a pity but thats progress I suppose. You can see practically the whole show now before it airs. The surprise is gone.
it's already clear it won't get near the absolutely flat out brilliant Helsinki stage, maybe the best in all esc history, well at least the best in modern years.. (we can't quite compare, since back then things like Cannes 1961 were quite amawing for its time..)
Don't the artists complain about this every year!?
And I think the stage is brilliant this year, its a very clean and simple design, I love it!!!

I agree, Helsinki stage was a technical marvel, probably my favourite ever stage!!
I think the stage is nice but I will wait to fully decide when I see high quality pictures and camera angles on the 20th!

I may be showing my age but there was a time when the set design was top secret only to be revealed when the show went on air. That said, it's not as if anyone's revealing the secret to making a nuclear bomb, is it? LOL
If you are having trouble finding accomodation in Belgrade. I have 2 LUX rooms for rent, one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Sole use of bathroom, access to kitchen. Appartment is in central belgrade in the dorcol district walking distance to pedestrian zone and bars. All ages welcome, bedding and towels provided. AC, Wireless internet and cable TV.

Last years stage was amazing!!! The best ever I think. Don't know if it can ever be topped. This years looks pretty similar.
I think they should just hold the semi finals in a standard theatre though. Seeing the stage three times in a week takes away from the anticipation there used to be in the old days.

I wasn't too impressed with this year's stage but because I haven't had a proper aerial view I don't want to fully rate it yet because he could look stunning on the night.
Also, Helsinki's stage was a technical marvel, the amount of work into and the lighting was huge and yet some of you still complain, how about you shell out some of your money for a bigger stage.

Ahhh I love this stage! I think is a little small but I don't like the big stages. and everyone is using it sooo well (I love Greece and Ukraine stage most ). Is really becomming a amazing show this year! I can't wait!
And...it will be sooo funny if someone will fall! haha
