Day 3: Czech Republic and Belarus
Song 8. Czech Republic - Teresa Kerndlova - Have Some Fun
A DJ spinning disks on a turntable introduces Teresa and four female dancers to the stage. They give a bright and breezy performance of Have Same Fun. Flames appear on the side of the stage along with pyros and dry ice whilst gold coloured balls are displayed on screens behind Teresa. Plenty of legs on display as Terese and two of the dancers are in very skimpy shorts.
Song 9. Ruslan Alehno – Hasta La Vista
The Belarusian has brought three golden spherical podiums with holes and lit from the inside on the stage. The routine with four dancing backing singers involves loads of hand movements and about halfway through the golden spheres are brought closer to each other and Ruslan jumps on the highest one. The set is coloured blue and golden and Ruslan gives a strong vocal performance of the song.

Czech Republic MUST qualify! No other way! It can be 9, 10, but PLEEEEASE, pass it to the final, Tereza!!!!
I have to say that Tereza´s song has improved A LOT!
I really like Czech Rep. song.
Actually lets compare ruslan and dima! both had atrocious pronounciation in their first vids. look at ruslan, he has obviously put lots of effort into practising and it has payed off big time. he has improved his pronounciation two fold and that accent has waned.
dima on the other hand has obviously put no effort whatsoever into anything apart from that rather superfluous stage production, guess he thinks he can win with sub par crap
geez he kinda sounds like valentina hasan
i dunno why but there is something i like bout the czech song, apart from tereza's legs lol.. i hope it qualifies, but it wont...
belarus has improved but i doubt it will qualify
Sorry, but both Belarus and Czech Republik are out of my rates
Czech rep. ok i forget this song allready and 4 girls on stage to buy attention semi only
Belarus- maybe final but nothing more
I really liked Terezas performance
Go Czech!!!
Thx, Czech republic must qualify, because Eurovision song contest is in my country not so much popular, but the success this year will make a bigger popularity here of this competition, so please, support our song, and vote for us ;-) I am afraid, that Czech republic will not participate in ESC '09, if we will not in final. Czech TV is poor, little of pts = next bad place = no final = nobody will watch here final of ESC, and Czech TV will not give a money for the participating next year.
I have to admit that I just saw the Czech Rehearsal and IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Far better than I expected, it was full of energy, fantastic choreography, great singing, tight dancing, everything was GREAT!!!! This could do alot better than alot of people expect, watch out for the Czech Republic!!!!!!
Tereza is a beauty and her song is really good. I hope it will qualify, just to proove to the bookies and everybody else that they were wrong about her song. Good luck to the Czechs!
I am looking forwrd to see the bulgarian performance!I hope it will be great!
Good Luck Deep zone and Balthazar!
My personal top 9 for today (based on performances):
1 Lithuania 2 Ukraine 3 Turkey 4 Iceland 5 Belarus 6 Albania
7 Sweden 8 Switzerland 9 Czech Republic
Now I'm curious to see the following ones: Latvia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Malta, Cyprus and Portugal.
I actually think Belarus could qualify, especially with the new look and version of the song. And as for the Czech Republic, I don't know! It could qualify, it could not! If it does then it will be a low qualifier, and probably not do much. I really like the Czech Republic this year and her song is 100000x better than their song last year!!!!
Good luck to Belarus and The Czech Republic!
I HOPE THAT CZECH REPUBLIC WILL QUALIFY.
Czech Rep is pretty bad and probably the cheapest song this year. It won't qualify.
Belarus is 50-50. The song is predictable and nothing special, but the performance is professional and good. Who knows?
