Day 1: All change for Slovenia
The new music for the Slovenian entry features much stronger synthesised keyboard with a spanish guitar jumping in for the chorus. The song remains at the same tempo, but the rocky edge is gone. There is also a major change in accompaning track for the bridge later in the song.

I hope Rebeka will ask for some better stage background because again they have given us the garbage of all backgrounds. Not only there are all possible colours it's also too dark, why the others have something more interesting behind?
Not sure what the difference is to be honest. It is still a WINNER! And please please please DON@T SING IN ENGLISH ON THE DAY! It sounds totally rubbish!

Erm, this "funk" version you're refering to is the first track (main version) on the CDM, which was released in back March - AND it's the one on the official album. Where have you been, esctoday?

Yes, this version has been out for a while now. This looks to be the version they submitted to the EBU since its out on the official CD. It looks like ESCTODAY was caught sleeping with this one.
I loved Norway's performance, but were there some sound problems in the second chorus or have they done something to the song?
This new version isn't just now or just out on the CD. I've had an MP3 with this arrangement for a month or two now.
Are such changes allowed after the EBU deadline ? Anyway, don't know the new version but changes are welcome if it sounds less than schlager as a result....there are already too many schlager this year.

If she had just followed my advice, she would've done a lot better.
But anyway, it's only a first rehearsal. So she can improve.
The cage thing was my idea, because she moves like an animal, so I thought a cage would calm her down and make her less barbarian.

Rebeka sang perfectly... but on the video u saw, in some parts she is not singing at all, u can only hear back vocalists and they have slightly different tune...
anyways...it can be worse than alenka's begining of the song...

I'm really concerned about what happened with Rebeka!
Of course, we cannot judge her based on today, obviously she was very annoyed because the cage- thing didn't work and it was clear that she didn't feel like performing at all, which is totally understandable... They should take care of the stage problems so that Rebeka doesn't have to worry!!!
I believe in her, she is a pro and she is capable of performing well live but in all honesty, this choreography sucks big time!!!
What the hell where they thinking? Rebeka should sing with a microphone in one hand, then it would come off way better. And with less moving, she would be able to put more focus on singing...
Of course, it might look good on the particular night but still, it worries me and it would be so sad if everything gets ruined because of that!

Ummm...this ethnic version is on the Official Eurovision CD....
I agree there is too much movement on the stage, but i hope that would look well on the camera, that's the most important. Don't you think so? And it hard to say from the seen how it will be shown. I hope it is going to work.
The problems with the cage are now solved, it was sth wrong with the "computer system" inside the cage, prob that means that there will be some effects with the cage as well. I still believe in Rebeka, and dont judge her to soon.
Major change??? I think it sounds almost the same as the original version. Am I the only one who's missing something here? I am glad she didn't change it too much though. :-) Hope she qualifies.

Rebeka and her team had many problems with the cage on the stage. From unknoen reason it was unable to turn it around or to move it by the both dancers like it was wanted. Rebeka was quite angry about it and she wasnt in the mood for singing and her team as well. I hope that problems with cage will be sort out soon and aont worry she knows how to sing and how to act on the stage and trust me, Rebeka is going to surprise!
Seriously... I don't think she sang that much out of tune... actually I think she sang better now than during the EMA performance and promo performances... I dunno why everyone complains...
and this is not a new version so the whole article was misleading...
