Duet with Beauty Queens
Portugal: Final preparations for Belgrade underway
The responsible of the Portuguese outfits will be the designer Cátia Castelo Branco and tomorrow fittings will be taken for all the singers on stage. The colours will be the same as in the national final. Vânia will wear a black dress with embroidered elements and the backing singers will be dressed in white loose clothes.
During the weekend the choreography will be rearranged and perfected under the guidance of Paulo Jesus. The vocal coach Helena Vieira will also check the harmony of the lead vocal and backing singers.
It is now known that during the stay in Belgrade, Portugal will hold a party to host fans, press and the other delegations. It will take place at "Porto Restaurant" and the special guests will be the group Beauty Queens, whose members did backing vocals for last year's winning song. Also a duet between the group and Vania will be recorded and broadcasted on RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster.
Next Friday, a press conference will be held at RTP's headquarters to promote this arrangements to the media.

I like Turkey, i like his culture, they should be part of EU...
this serkan in not an exemple of tolerance and respect but didn't represent Turkey.
I'm happy to respect different opinions and don't assume that anyone else will think like I do, but this song is not boring or ordinary.
I tend to favor uptempo, lively songs, but this year my favorites are Switzerland and Portugal. The reasons why I like Senhora do Mar:
I tend to ignore most ballads. This one, on the other hand, grabbed my attention the first time I heard it, and I'm still impressed with it after hearing it multiple times.
A testament to the quality of the song is that only a top-quality performer like Vania can do this song justice. I get the feeling that most of this year's contestants would fail if they attempted to perform this song.
It is already known that Vania can do an excellent live performance, and I am sure that she will be excellent again in the second semifinal and hopefully the Final as well. I think that as far as ballads go, this could be the biggest vote-getter.
Boring and ordinary? Absolutely not!
Whatever happens, good luck Portugal, and good luck Vania.

Don't take it personal, Serkan. But the boundary of Europe is the Black Sea, the Bosporus, the sea of Marmara and the Dardanelles. It leaves only a little piece of Turkey in Europe (Thrace). That's not being racist, it's just a geographic fact. And if Turkey lies mostly in Asia, what's the problem? Why are you so worried about it?

Spend one minute of your time looking at my profile, and you will realise Turkey is in my favourites this year. I even praised the preview video everytime I had a chance, saying it was a very good production, very original, etc.
I have nothing against Turkey. You should read more carefully, because it was Serkan the one that started making trouble here. It's ok if he does not like the Portuguese song, we all have a different taste. But saying the Portuguese songs is a 'stupid, ordinary, boring ballad" it's a different thing. OK, Turkey is half european. Geographically Turkey straddles the border between europe and Asia, with a small part of Turkey lying in europe. Culturally it is a mixture. So is Turkey european . . . . . . . . . It depends where you are in Turkey!
