How can you say Portugal is average song and Hero is not... How many times did you hear songs like Portugese on Eurovision...and now the question of the day how many times did you hear songs like Hero on Eurovison....
I have nothign against Charlotte, I wouldn't even mind if she wins I like this song, they celebrate Eurovision and everything I loved about this contest in first place (as Andorra's entry this year)... but don't bash other entires!

I think you're right, "Hero" is fantastic, but I just don't think it will win
Well, I am not so sure about Charlotte Perelli winning this years ESC.
Hero is fantastic, don't get me wrong, she's my number 2 this year, but I don't think she will win again.
Firstly people usually don't win twice in the ESC, secondly: since 2001 all the countries that won were countries that did never won before, Thirdly her song is great but not as surprising as, for example, Hard Rock Hallelujah and fourthly: Sweden is and stays a Western country...
But besides, Charlotte is a Hero!

And who said I am Swede?
I am not. I just don't see any proper winner this year like Charlotte. U can be negative or not but she will win
Vote and help me predict winner...

Azerbaijan will win and that's it!!!
Even if I'm from Finland,I hate the song and the group who will represent Finland.. So I'm gonna vote for Azerbaijan!!!! I loooooooove them and especially Elnurrrrrr..Murrr..
A night of comedy is Josh Stone now. Begging for some more votes for miss Pirelli... very sad. The more you Swedes cry, the more negative I (and probably some others) become about Sweden passing the semi.
Sweden will win!!! russia, portugal greece and armenia will not qualify to average songs..
I have to say Ostend does come across a bit random.
Paris!! London!! Ostend??
Charlotte perrelli will in!!!!!!
People, don't say words like - "I don't think Charlotte will win
" - if you will support her by your votes she will!!!
Richard you ever been to Ostend ?
Oh,have a nice trip,DeepZone!
Hah...well,whoever wins the whole contest...I wish him a nice trip. And FINALLY top the charts worldwide!Unlike the girls (or band) in the last few years.
Oh my god Ostend - it's like hell on earth, the most boring place that was ever built.
Sirushi will win, but im hoping for Perrelli!
That Hero person is like a kameleon... He is posting here under how many different names ? Only one thing, his way of writing stays very fynny. So Hero, Anders, A night of comedy... keep up the good work my friend. You are a born comedian. Went to bookies and put money on following countries : Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Ireland and Spain. And oh yeah, I put a fiver onto Belgium at 80/1, you never know.... So if Belgium wins, drinks on me .....
I think the winner will be Sirusho or Dima Bilan, but im hoping for No Angels!
Coo l! Good news that the winner will appear in Laurent Ruquier's talk show, which is very popular. He co-commentated in 2003 and 2004 and recently he invited Sébastien Tellier, Gérard Lenorman and Marie Myriam in his saturday night late talk show. Though he said that Eurovision has become ridiculous and that nobody cares about this contest, he regularly speaks about it, which is better than nothing. Last year, on the monday following the contest, there was also a short review of it in his talk show and in 2006 he invited Lordi twice, the 1st time in June and the second time in October, when they came to Paris for a unique concert. So he's probably the French personality that gives most publicity to Eurovision. Thanx to him.
wow nice countries.
Ani's English suck so i wonder how she communicated with the guys on Capital Radio
Jonny K

- Night Elf

- Alex Amos
Yeah, Ani was great on capital radio and she got some great reactions from listeners
lol, Ani has already been in Belgium and London (on Capital Radio). Uhm, but they would be happy to see her again since their reaction was fantastic
No seriously first time I loved Eurovison was in 1998, and It wasn't meter to me that my country is not competing. That didn't stop me to watch, and enjoy and cheer for my favorite...as it was the case in 2006 when Serbia and Montenegro withdraw...
But the main reson I liked this show where euro pop music witch is no longer present in Eurovision
Only Andorra has it this year and I hope we will have more songs like this in 2009...
Of cores I hope Andorra will qualify... vote for Andorra !!!!!!
peace
@Jonny K,
It may also be Dima Bilan or Jelena Tomasevic!
Maybe they a;ready know winner will be from east so that's why winner tour is to western countries...
just a thought
- Night Elf
Anybody is welcome in the UK!!!!
(But Jelena hasn't actually won yet!! lol
