National final participant
Georgia: Tika Patsatsia spokesperson for 2008
Tika Patsatsia took part in the Georgian national final with the song Never change and she finished 5th getting 4% of the votes. In the Eurovision Song Contest final she will have to wait a long time until she can do her job as Georgia is the 42nd ans therefore second last country to vote.
Georgia takes part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time after Sopho finished 12th in the final on the country's debut last year with Visionary dream. In Belgrade, Diana Gurtskaya will perform her entry Peace will come in the second semi final on 22nd May at number 14.

I like Fearne Cotton presenting the UK votes especially when the UK give 12 points to Lordi but I think she is away to the USA to make a career for herself like Cat Deeley. I think they should get Lorraine Kelly back!

I think Scooch should announce the UK votes!!!
annother annoying song please....
yeah, last year's Sopho was remarkable! absolutely stunning and original!
@ Johnny K, I would be hoping for Natasha Kaplinsky but she has moved to 5 now so I am guessing it would be Fearne Cotton or maybe Cheryl Baker.... who did it last year... I cant remember!
I really like Georgia's song this year and the video for it is great! I hope Georgia qualifies although last years entry was the best!
I wanna find out who the UK spokesperson will be.
Do you think it will be Fearne Cotton again, she quite good cos she doesn't talk for ages like some of the other spokespersons do!
This performance isn't that bad!
OK, it is!
this performance is a catastrophy! I think she has the looks ... For the next year she needs the right song and some skills to perform it. Go Georgia!!!
OH MY GOD WHAT A BAD SONG......
This is absolutley incredible news!!! I am so thrilled!! Thanks esctoday........
3G were the best - Dina's song is weak. But maybe this is a Armenia 07 deja vu : the spokesperson will be next years ESC participant
....why not, can only get better than this years entry.
WOW WHAT A NICE INFORMATION ! TIKA I LOVE YOU.
Richard, I would never have lived if I hadn't found your nasty coments as always...
After how good Sopho was last year with one of most offbeat and original entries Eurovision has probably ever seen, this awful entry for 2008 is a real let down.
Gosh - What fascinating information. I would never have lived if I hadn't found this out.
