8th jury declares
OGAE Lithuania: Sweden 12 points (again)
In what seems to be becoming the clear and overwhelming fan view, Sweden are once again top of the pile, ahead of Ani Lorak for Ukraine in second place according to the Lithuanian fans. Dima Bilan gets a big 8 points to more than double the Russian vote and Norway, Armenia and Iceland once again score steadily in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Bulgaria score points for a second successive jury after sitting on nil points for the first six rounds, and Belarus pick up their first point of the year.
- 12 points Sweden
- 10 points Ukraine
- 8 points Russia
- 7 points Norway
- 6 points Armenia
- 5 points Iceland
- 4 points Portugal
- 3 points Israel
- 2 points Bulgaria
- 1 point Belarus
With everything still to play for, Sweden's lead after eight declared juries is looking incredibly strong, Charlotte Perrelli is scoring top marks from all over the continent with the Official fan club members. It now stands at 38 points after Switzerland failed to score any points from Lithuania. Armenia remain third, but have closed the gap to just two points. Ukraine's 10 points lifts Ani Lorak to fourth place, and Norway move up to share fifth place with Serbia.

Obrigado, Pedro Corte Real, since I guess ESC 2009 will be held in Lisbon !!!
Blimey, someone obviously has nowt else to do with their life!
I've just made an emulation with a program including last five ESC votings and six different polls of this year. The result of the final would be (last year gave six positions of the top ten right):
1.- SERBIA - 302 pts
2.- Ukraine - 257 pts
3.- Sweden - 200 pts
4.- Russia - 149 pts
5.- Greece - 148 pts
6.- Ireland - 138 pts
7.- Spain - 120 pts
8.- Romania - 108 pts
9.- Turkey - 105 pts
10.- Armenia - 103 pts
11.- Hungary - 88 pts
12.- Latvia - 86 pts
13.- Iceland - 83 pts
14.- Albania - 79 pts
15.- Bosnia & Herzegovina - 77 pts
16.- Norway - 66 pts
17.- Israel - 66 pts
18.- Belarus - 62 pts
19.- Azerbaijan - 60 pts
20.- UK - 48 pts
21.- Portugal - 41 pts
22.- Switzerland - 36 pts
23.- Germany - 31 pts
24.- Netherlands - 29 pts
25.- France - 12 pts
António: It has already been corrected.
Isn't this OGAE stuff just a load of old ....
The Final Table with the points given by the OGAE's until now is still NOT CORRECT !!!
I repeat :
10 + 0 + 3 + 0 + 7 + 8 + 0 + 4 = 32 points (and not 26 points) to Portugal !
OMG, is it so difficult to understand ???
K2 International: I've also noticed that big mistake!! It should be rectified immediately.
Agree with all, except for Sweden's position. It should obviously be in 4th place and Portugal in first. Nevertheless, good luck Sweden.
I see nothing wrong with the scoreboard.
Pfff No chance Sqweden to win!

@ Barry: No, we don't need to update our browsers. But you need to straighten out your graphics. Why not just present a list of "current standings" at the end of each article, and scrap that purple thing? If you did, everyone could follow ...
The scorecard and the written results are also incoherent when it comes to Romania. On the scorecard it says that Andorra gave 7 to Poland and 5 to Portugal. In the article it says that they gave 7 to Portugal, 5 to Romania and nothing to Poland ...
Is it Poland or Portugal that got the 4 points from Lithuania? the board and the results written don't match!
I REPEAT:
Sorry, esctoday editors but the points for PORTUGAL are WRONG.
Let us check>
OGAE SPAIN > 10 PTS
OGAE NORWAY > 0 PTS
OGAE ITALY > 3 PTS
OGAE BELGIUM > 0 PTS
OGAE ANDORRA > 7 PTS
OGAE SERBIA > 8 PTS
OGAE LITHUANIA > 4 PTS .
So that gives 32 POINTS and not 26 POINTS which puts PORTUGAL in 5th place, ahead of NORWAY and SERBIA ??!!

Do you know how to SUM ???
And to correct a mistake ???
Does anyone know how Belgium did in the OGAE poll in 2006??

Hi Darko...
You need to update your browser. The chart works in all latest browser versions. I suggest Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer 7.
Barry, is there anything that can be done to finally put various OGAE votes in the chart provided? I'm really straining to read and decypher every time.
On the subject, all this Charlotte Charlotte Charlotte shrieking is making me depressed as it is such an insipid song. On the other hand, I'd be happy for it to win just so that the West can finally have its frustrated cake and eat it, so that we could then all move on at last. Or am I being too naive...
ı think lithuania and latvia will vote like this
12.russia
10.sweden
8.each other
7.serbia
6.norway
5.turkey(our favorite song 4 ever rock)
4....
3....
2....
1....can go ireland
surely they will give us their higly votes
ogae sucks
I DO NOT CARE WHAT THIS COUNTRY VOTE.....THEY ARE VOTING POLITICALLY.
AND SOMETHING ELSE........IS ANYBODY WHO KNOWS COUNTING?THE RESULTS ARE WRONG.
