Biography
Vanna debuted as a vocalist in 1989 at the Zagreb festival. She won first prize for her performance and her debut set the pattern for her career. Prizes have showered over Vanna when she has sung at festivals ever since.
But it is not just as a solo artist that Vanna has won great accolades and many prizes. From 1992 to 1997, she was one of the forces behind the band "Electro team", both as a singer and a songwriter. The band was one of the most popular in Croatia winning platinum albums for the CD sales and playing sell out shows.
After "Electro team" dissolved in 1997, Vanna focused on her solo career. She has released three solo albums and became a member of the Croatian Artists’ Association last year.
Tonci Huljic has written more than 500 songs for the best Croatian performers and was chosen as the best composer of the last decade in Croatia. He also wrote the majority of the material for the British female string quartet "Bond". The song "Strings of my heart" marks the third time that Tonci Huljic will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. The first time was in Dublin in 1995 and he also had a song in the competition in Jerusalem in 1999.
Vjekoslava Huljic has a law degree and has also published a songbook and a book of fairy tales. She writes for several literary magazines and has been the best selling songwriter in Croatia for the last decade.
