Biography
The pop quartet Ping-Pong consists of two girls and two boys. The group was formed a year ago by Guy Asif, who drafted his ex-girlfriend Ifat Fijoya, and Roi Arad, who engaged his former room-mate Ohel Eden.
At present, they are working on their first album, with release this spring. All four members of the group come from Tel-Aviv and are very much looking forward to going to Stockholm. Not that they care so much about the contest, but because "all Swedes are so goodlooking".
Guy Asif is 32 years of age and works as a journalist at Israel’s second biggest daily newspaper Ma’ariv. He is also an editor for a cultural programme on Israeli TV.
Roi Arad, 24, is a journalist as well. He writes for the financial paper Globs and is also a well-known fan of disco music. He has a weak spot for second-hand clothes and waterguns. If you come too close to him, you might get wet.
Ronen Ben Tal is a musician with his own studio and record label. He has produced quite a few albums for other artists and is married and has a child.
