Biography
Danijela Martinovic (singer) is one of Croatia's most popular female singers. She comes from a family of talented musicians. Her sister Izabela also sings for a successful group. Danijela sang for the hit group Magazin before starting an independent career. Her eagerly awaited first album as a solo artist will feature songs composed by Petar Grašo and Tonci Huljic. Prior to this year's contest Danijela participated in 1995's contest with Magazin and female singer Lidija with a song written by the same Tonci Huljic, Nostalgija.
Petar Grašo (composer) is Croatia's most successful young composer and singer. He is currently working for the Tonika music production company, owned by the composer Tonci Huljic. Petar's debut album The Moon Above The Clouds sold 70,000 copies, beating all Croatian records. He performs his own songs and writes for other popular performers.
Stjepan (full name: Stipica) Kalogjera (conductor) is a composer, arranger, conductor and producer and a familiar figure on the national pop scene. He was conductor and arranger of Croatia's 1995 Eurovision Song Contest entry. Stjepan has been involved with music since the age of six. He began studying with violin and later with piano and trumpet. He spent part of his career as a jazz musician. He has also written two musicals and won numerous awards for composition and arrangement. [Notes from the Official 1998 Programme by the BBC]
