Biography
Performers Chara and Andreas Konstantinou were born in Nicosia, and learnt music from their father, who has been missing since the Troubles in Cyprus in the 1970s. Chara now lives and sings in Athens, and is preparing her first album. Andreas' first recording, on the Warner label, Krypha Taxidhia, Secret Voyages, was a hit in Greece and Cyprus.
Constantina, Chara and Andreas' sister, was also born in Nicosia. She performed in 1983, and in 1987 released her first album. She has had three gold albums, and her collection of songs from around the Mediterranean, I Kardhia mou tragoudha to Medogeio is hugely popular in Japan and Israel as well as at home.
