Biography
Amila Glamocak was born in 1966 in Sarajevo, where she is now in her last term at the Music Academy. For 14 years, Amila has been singing professionally as a back-up for other artists, but during the war in former Yugoslavia, she performed a solo role in the musical Hair. Now she is ready for a solo career, and as a start, she is representing Bosnia-Herzegovina in EuroSong, Oslo '96.
Sinan Alimanovic was born in 1954 in Leskovac, and was educated at Pristina Music Academy. As pianist, conductor and arranger, he has appeared at several international music festivals, and written music for TV and film. He has been a pianist and conductor for Radio-Television Pristina, and since 1990, he has been conductor of Big Band of RTV Sarajevo. The songs that represented Bosnia-Herzegovina in 94 and 95 were arranged and conducted by Sinan. For the last two years, he has been the Manager of Music Production at Bosnia-Herzegovina's national broadcasting company, RTV BiH.
Twenty-five-year old Adnan Bajramovic was born in Banghazi, Libya, but grew up and went to school in Visoko in Bosnia-Herzegovina. He began to play the guitar ten years ago, and when the war broke out, he began to write songs which were recorded on the local radio station. The song which he wrote for the music festival Lukavac 1994 was his first break-through as a serious songwriter and composer. Adnan has also worked with a children's choir, Vihor. He is now in his second year at the School of Economics at the University of Sarajevo, but plans to continue writing music and songs.
Aida Frljak is only just 18 years old, and thereby the youngest in the group from Bosnia-Herzegovina. She was born in Sarajevo, but is now a student at a music school in Visoko, where she studying piano and flute. She intends to study pharmacy, but never to give up her music.
