Biography
Sebnem Paker was born in Istanbul in 1977, and still lives at home with her parents and sister. She studies the guitar at the Istanbul University Conservatory, and she has taken classical ballet classes for seven years. Besides her interest in music, she enjoys reading, travelling and going to the theatre. Later on, she wants to study international relations at the university.
Levent Çoker was born in Izmit in 1958. At the age of 13, he started to study trombone at Ankara State Conservatory. In 1979, while continuing his studies at Istanbul State Conservatory, he joined the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. He has composed music for opera and ballet, for instrumental groups and for symphony orchestras. Levent Çoker has won music awards in several national music contests. But he also races model cars and is fascinated by model airplanes and trains.
Born in Aydin in 1965, Selma Çuhaci was interested in literature and music since she was very young. However, after graduating from Erenkoy High School, she entered Istanbul University to study medicine. She graduated in 1988, only 23 years old. Since her debut as a song writer in 1990, she has written lyrics for many songs and received awards at several song competitions. Most recently, the song Hosgeldin (Welcome) with lyrics by Dr. Çuhaci, won first place at the Pamukkale International Song Competition. She is still working as a doctor.
