Biography
The group One More Time is a trio consisting of Peter and Nanne Grönvall and Maria Rådsten. They formed the group in 1991 and have released two albums since then: Highland in 1992 and One More Time in 1994. Highland was a major hit in several countries and reached the Top Ten on the hit parade in Sweden, Norway, Belgium, The Czech Republic and Israel - and in South Africa, it even became a gold record (sold more than 50,000 copies).
Peter and Nanne have made five previous contributions to the ESC: Eldorado in 1986, Alexandra in 1987, I'll Show You Wonders in 1992 (performed by Maria Rådsten), Nothing Turns Out As You Want It in 1992 and The Greatest Thing in 1995, performed by Cecilia Vennersten and co-composed by Maria Rådsten. The Greatest Thing won a Grammy Award for the best popular song in Sweden. Peter and Nanne describe their entry this year as "a warm winter melody". Peter Grönvall is the son of Benny Andersson of ABBA, the Eurovision winners of 1974. [Notes from the Official 1996 Programme by NRK]
