Biography
Justyna Steczkowska was born in 1972 and is one of the nine children of the Steczkowska family who became famous on the TV series, Music Performing Families. Justyna was the star of the family group. For many years they toured western Europe performing classic and pop repertoire. Having studied at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, Justyna is now pursuing her career as a singer. In 1994 she won a prestigious debut competition in the Polish Song Festival in Opole.
Mateusz Pospieszalski started his musical career at the age of five when he learnt to play the piano. He has been awarded many distinctions at competitions for young musicians. He is a member of Voo Voo, a top Polish rock group.
Wojciech Waglewski, also a member of Voo Voo, is a legendary figure in Polish rock. He was a member of 80's cult group Osjan who toured Europe with American, Hindu and western European performers. He won the Polish music industry Composer of the Year Award in 1994. [Notes from the Official 1995 programme by RTÉ]
