Biography
Kim Jackson is 26 and comes from Dublin. She began her artistic career as backing vocalist with some of Ireland's most successful cabaret groups. Her evolution as a singer is tied to her work as backing vocalist for Liam Reilly. She is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers in Ireland. Thanks to her unique vocal sound, she has captivated the public and the music industry alike far beyond Irish boundaries.
Liam Reilly came second in last year's Eurovision Song Contest in Yugoslavia with Somewhere In Europe. This year he is going to take part in Rome's Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Could it be that I'm in love" composed by himself and performed by Kim Jackson. He has been in the limelight since 1980 and has produced some quite successful long-players. After his outstanding performance in last year's Song Contest he released his first solo album "Throwing Caution to the Wind". [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
