Biography
Dulce José Silva Pontes wos born 22 years ago in a small town on the left bank of the river Taje, not far from Lisbon. She started her career as a singer in 1988 after having passed a selection at the Namouche Recording Studios. Over the past few years she has been devoting herself to musical activities such as the musical entitled "007 an order to play" and a series of performances in TV shows.
José Joao dos Santos Aguas Pontes or Zé da Ponte is 37. He is former member of two famous Portuguese bands. He composed the Portuguese entry to the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest, the song Não Sejas Mau Para Mim sung by Dora. Jorge Quintela and Fred Micael are two young popular musicians who have lately come to the forefront in their country. [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
