Biography
Sandra Simò was born in Zürich, her father coming from this city and her mother from Spain. Her career as a singer began at 17. In 1989 she participated as a backing singer in the Swiss national final of the Eurovision Song Contest, attracting the attention of Renato Mascetti and embarking on her successful partnership with him. Sandra Simò won this year's Swiss final.
In 1983 Renato Mascetti made his first debut in a TV show. Over the past few years, however, he has been particurlarly active as a producer for young talents. [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
