More information
Biography
The full name of the singer is Emma Booth. She was born in Bridgend, South Wales in 1975 as the daughter of John Booth, former member of the group Union Express. She didn't manage to bring her sixth position in the Eurovision Song Contest to fruition and after a final single Dance All Night she left the music business.
John Booth's Union Express also included singer/songwriter Paul Curtis. And it is he that wrote this year's UK entry Give A Little Love Back To The World. The song was Paul's third composition to be in the Eurovision Song Contest after The Shadows' Let Me Be The One (1975) and Belle & The Devotions' Love Games (1984).
