Biography
Gili Netanet began his singing career as a "wonder child", appearing in song contests at the age of 6 and 8. Gili regularly performs as a soloist with the symphony orchestra of his home town and with the Philharmonic Chorus of Tel-Aviv. Although he is still only 12, he beat well known Israeli singers in the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Galit Burg has appeared as solo singer with an orchestra performing in several shows around the country. Shaike Paikov chose her as second soloist to partner Gili in "Derech ha'melech".
Shaike Paikov is one of Israel's most famous composers. He has written about 600 songs for singers in Israel and abroad. Shaike Paikov has participated in many song festivals in Israel and around the world, winning prizes in most of them. He has also written music for films, plays, musicals, folklore, ballet, commercials and jingles for radio and television. As well as being a prolific composer, arranger and lyricist, Shaike Paikov is also a conductor. He has participated in international song festivals in Korea, Japan, Malta and Chile.
