Biography
Céline Dion, who comes from Montreal, released her first record in 1981 at the age of 13. A year later the title song from her first LP won a gold medal at the Yamaha World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo. She also received the Musicians' Prize. In 1983 she received four Felix Trophies from Quebec's Recording and Entertainment Industry Association - including 'Female Performer of the Year'. In 1984, a 5-week engagement at the Paris Olympia with Patrick Sebastien was a sell-out. Céline now works in Paris and Rome, where she records with some of today's leading composers. Her latest LP "Incognito" was released in 1987.
Nella Martinetti is one of the most prominent figures on the Swiss musical scene. She writes music and lyrics and is also a popular performer. To date she has released 10 LPs. She has appeared in numerous TV shows in Switzerland and abroad, and in 1986 she won awards as composer, lyricist and performer of the song "Bella Musician". This is her fourth song for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Atilla Sereftug is a professional musician who has played with the Roland Baker Orchestra in Germany and been musical director of the prominent Swiss group, Dorados. He has composed and arranged for a number of performers in Switzerland and abroad, including "Pas Pour Moi" for Daniela Simons, which took second place for Switzerland in the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest in Bergen.
