Biography
Doris Dragovic, singer and student of philology, was born in 1961. Her hometown of Split boasts a long pop music tradition. Doris' talents in art, ballet and music surfaced very early and have blossomed into a highly successful career.
As singer with the pop group More, Doris has made many noteworthy festival and concert appearances and has also recorded two LPs. Her talent and beauty have made her a favourite of the public and the media. Doris Dragovic's winning the Yugoslav Selection for the Eurovision Song Competition signifies a new phase in the success of this young artist.
Zrinko Tutic, composer, lyricist and singer, was born in the town of Banja Luka in 1955. At the age of 18, Zrinko came to Zagreb where he soon formed and led a rock group known as Selekcija. Later, he devoted much of his artistic eftorts to the composition and performing of chansons. During the past two years, Zrinko has collaborated with the top names in the Yugoslav pop scene on many significant recording projects. Another facet of Zrinko's talent is evident in the many children's songs and TV musicals he has written.
Zrinko has recorded four solo LPs. The song "Doris" brought him wide popularity. Coincidentally, with a singer named Doris, Zrinko Tutic moves on to the Eurovision scene. [Notes from the official 86 programme by NRK]
