Biography
This year saw Ireen Sheer (born 25-02-'49 in Romford, UK) returning to the Eurovision stage, having been there on two other occasions: in 1974 for Luxembourg with Bye Bye, I Love You and in 1978 for Germany with Feuer. Since then she had had only one big hit, Das Lied Der Schönen Helena. This year she entered for Luxembourg once again and brought four of her friends.
Chris Roberts (born Christian Klusacek 13-03-'45 in München, Germany) started his career in 1962 as a member of The Blue Rockets. After having played in several movies he decided to combine this career with a solo career as a singer. He was successful and had hits with songs like Mein Name Is Hase und Du Kannst Nicht Immer Siebzehn Sein.
Malcolm Roberts is from the UK. Malcolm had his first hits at the end of the sixties with songs like May I Have The Next Dream With You and Love Is All. After he achieved a 13th position in this year's contest, he tried to enter the contest for his own country in 1991. His self composed One Love sank however without a trace, coming 8th out of 8.
Margo is Dutch and her real name is Annemiek Verdoorn. Although a one-time singer, Annemiek now is a full-time actress, mainly in soap series. Her best known role was the role of a nurse in the soap Medisch Centrum West.
