Biography
The singer's full name is Nicole Hohloch. Her first hits she scored in 1981 with the songs Der Alte Mann Und Das Meer and Flieg' Nicht So Hoch, Mein Kleiner Freund. It was her participation in the 1982 contest and her anticipation on a possible win in this contest, that made her a star all around Europe, topping the charts in several countries with her Eurovision winner. Songs like Papillon and Ich Hab' Dich Doch Lieb (with the group Trio of Da Da Da fame) followed. In the mid 80's her European success dwindled, but even in the 90's she stays one of the best known stars in the German speaking countries scoring hits with songs like A Song For The World, Mit Dir Leben... Lieben and Voulez-Vous Danser Avec Moi?.
