Biography
After participating together with Dries Holten in 1972's Eurovision Song Contest as Sandra and Andres with Als Het Om De Liefde Gaat, this duo scored some minor hits in Holland before dissolving the partnership allegedly because of disagreements about the future musical direction. The real reason was Dries secretly had teamed up with Rosy to form Rosy & Andres. This meant a new beginning for Sandra Reemer (born 17/10/50 in Bandung, Indonesia). She tried her hand once again at the Eurovision Song Contest with The Party Is Over Now, sung in English as was allowed for some years in the 70s. In spite of the success of that song, her solo career however didn't take off and Sandra started presenting a programme in 1978 with Eddy Becker called Popparade.
