My story
Matthew Noonan
I love Eurovision! Song, Dance and Junior! I'm not afraid to admit it's the highlight of my year. I love following the national selections of many countries, for example Sweden and The UK.
MOSCOW 2009:
In alphabetical order - Semi 1, Semi 2 and Final
Semi 1:
Andorra - Susanne Georgia: La Teva Decisio: I love it, it's really catchy and cheers me up when I'm feeling down. I hope Andorra passes the semi final and qualifies for the final for the first time! Good luck Andorra
Armenia - The Arshakyan Sisters: Nor Par: Well, well, well. What should I say about this. Well it's different and DREADFUL. If this qualifies, I will fall to the ground. Just awful. Andorra - SHAME ON YOU
Belarus - Petr Elfimov: Eyes That Never Lie: Oh dear, oh dear. Koldun Number 3. Belarus needs to stop going for male singers and go for a girl-group or female vocalist. Belarus are not going to qualify imo.
Finland - Waldo's People: Lose Control - I really like this entry, imo the studio version is better. But overall, it's a good song and with a good performance it should qualify and hopefully make the Top 10. But can this win?
Iceland - Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir: Is It True? - Very good singer, lovely simplistic song which will do well. I hope it does.
Malta - Chiara: What If We - Excellent singer who deserved to win in 2005. I love this song - I think this will be the Top 3, and with the return of the juries, I believe this will be top 3.
Montenegro - Andrea Demirovic - Just Get Out Of My Life - Good singer, good typical European song, could qualify with good performance and promo tour.
Romania - Elena Gheorge - The Balkan Girls: Nice enough entry, good start off, very catchy - but will it qualify?
Turkey - Hadise: Dum Tek Tek: Lovely entry, nice Turkish sound - should do well. Top 7 imo.
Semi 2:
Albania - Kejsi Tola - Me Merr Ne Enderr: Nice
Should do well - qualifier
Cyprus - Christina Mextaxa - Firefly: Oh dear, I hate it. Lovely song with crap singer. She needs to learn how to sing.
Denmark - Niels Brinck - Believe Again - I like this song, he soounds so much like Ronan Keating! Hopefully it will qualify.
Lithuania - Sasha Son - Love - It's alternative and different but not my style at all.
Poland - Lidia Kopania - I Don't Wanna Leave - Isis Gee was fantastic last year but this is a For Life rip-off. I hope it doesn't qualify for those reasons.
Slovenia - Quartissimo feat. Martina Majerle - BOO! Boring - don't like.
The Final:
United Kingdom - Jade Ewen - My Time - WINNER! Fantastic singer, fantastic song - AMAZING ALW and DW! 1st Place - London 2010.
THE REST WILL BE UPDATED WHEN ALL 43 SONGS ARE KNOWN
