My story

ben kalomonto

well first of yes it is my guilty pleasure of loving eurovision, but who can't say no to listining to people sing of tune, laugh at the presenters (my fav was defo the ukraine 05 women) and then do a game of guess the political voting, all fun
personally i think the uk should have have withdrawn in 2008, i would have prefered watching it without having to get upset at our failings (as much as we deserve them) but this year we proved a boring song (although the best singer) can get us 5th (and 10th if it was only televoting which is always good) then we can defently win with the right song.

only really been watching since 2005 in a fan like way so i have my scorings for the years: (these are based on the songs and singers themselves, not so much the performances at eurovision)

2007 had the best songs, 2009 had the best mixture of songs and voting, even if norway got way to many points. the most exciting voting was 2005 by far, as it seemed latvia, switzerland, malta & greece had it in the bag but took greece a while to get all its points.

hopefully 2010 will bring some great songs and surprises, i have high hopes for the western countrys to regain another win, or an underachieving eastern country sending its winning song, since bulgaria have gone internal this year, it might well be there year

My favorite countries

The following countries are my favorite Eurovision Song Contest participating nations;
Iceland United Kingdom
Germany Cyprus
Turkey Greece
Finland Ukraine
Bulgaria Armenia
