I love the Eurovision Song Contest since Dana International won in 1998 for Israel. In 1999 I loved the contest too, having Sweden won with Charlotte Nielsen (Perelli), although I prefered Iceland with Selma to win. I saw year by year the contest. In 2002, the contest got a lot of popularity with Rosa's Europe's living a celebration in Spain. I wanted Spain to fail because all the years I was watching the contest, without any success and being nearly the only person in Spain watching that old contest. In 2002, 2003 & 2004, I got some interest for my country in the contest because with Operacion Triunfo's fever, TVE took the selection more seriously. In 2005 & 2006, I began to love the semifinal format and Andorra's participation from 2004 will rest in my heart forever more. The spanish representation was so bad, that every year I record the contest, and always skip spanish show. In 2007, I loved the original version of I love you mi vida sang by Rebeca... but the artist who won was D'Nash because they were rather popular between girls. I liked the song, not the singers. In 2008, ALL Spain knew Rodolfo Chikilicuatre was going to win because of the support in laSexta. Finally, I liked the selection because year by year, Spain was staying in the position 20... so I knew whatever Spain is sending will have a bad qualification in the ESC. Spain has no chance to win actually. The presence of all the eastern countries of Europe with other countries that are not Europe has made the western countries to have no chances. So, I want Spain to quit in the contest. I'll follow it anyway, but I don't want Spain to be laught at in a contest where spanish are not loved (maybe because of being of the big4)

18/01/2009 --- For the songs I've heard of 2009, I hope Turkey to win.

But, we must be realistic. Juries are back to give credibility to the contest, because it's impossible that all the years the points were the same (with some light changes), but what most was voted was the neighbour country... and that's not fair.

With 50-50\\\\\\\% you can still vote and give your support. If televoting gives 12 to Turkey, and jury gives 12 to Turkey is because public and juries have the same musical taste... but if televoting gives 12 to Turkey... but juries give 0... is because the song is not that good... so instead of voting 12... Turkey will get 6... and the real good song will get the higher points.

I think this system will make light the neighbour voting. Now instead of giving Spain the 12 normal points to Romania... if juries don't like it... Romania will get less points.
