Hi! My name is Øystein and I live in the beautiful country, Norway, and I`m a big esc fan!

I watched my first esc-show in 2000, when Denmark won. Oh, I loved it! The songs, the show and the voting part of course. Since then I`ve got crazy on eurovision stuff, indeed after Norways fourth place in 2003 ( Then I didn`t know that Norway had got higher results before, and that we had won twice). Every day I look at the esc sites on internet for news and polls.

Every year someone in this esctoday-forum write that the nordic countries ( Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland ) always vote for each other. Here are some reasons for that: ( I have to make it clear that I don`t defend this )

- We speak almost the same language ( Sweden, Norway and Denmark has the same language. A lot of Finns speak swedish, and a lot of Icelandic people speak Norwegian or swedish)
- We got the same taste.
- And when you hear that there are some of the nordic countries turn to performe you listen very good too the song.

AND there are a lot of countries who are worse:
- Cyprus and Greece
- Balkan countries
- Ireland and UK
- Baltik neighbours
- Romania and Moldova
- Poland and Ukraine
- Sovjet countries
- Albania and Macedonia
- Andorra and Spain
- The Netherlands and Belgium
